Messages
Every client has one conversation with you; clients do not see each other. Messages stay in the application and are part of the data export.
How to send a message
Section titled “How to send a message”- Messages → “Select a member to start chatting”: on the left are the conversations that already have messages, below them the clients you have not written to yet; “Search members” filters them.
- Or from the client’s page, “Chat” under “Contact”.
Type into “Type a message…” and “Send”. The client sees the message at once if they are in the application; their conversation opens by itself as soon as they go to Messages or press “Message your therapist” on their home page.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”New messages arrive live, without refreshing, with a discreet notification at the top. In the navigation, the Messages item carries the unread count; entering a conversation marks them read. We do not email about new messages.
How to mute or block a conversation
Section titled “How to mute or block a conversation”In the conversation, the “Conversation options” menu:
- “Mute notifications”: the conversation gets a “Muted” badge; messages arrive, but without a notification or count.
- “Block messages”: the client can no longer write, badge “Blocked”. Sessions are not changed.
To undo: the same menu (“Unmute notifications”, “Unblock messages”) or Settings → “Messages and blocked clients”, where all muted and blocked conversations are in one place.
Emergencies
Section titled “Emergencies”In messages and when setting a password the client sees a collapsed line “In case of emergency” with the numbers of the ambulance, the police and the crisis centre.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”The conversation is only between you and the client; we have no access to it. While the practice is paused or without the Professional plan, messages are paused for both sides.
